Precision Pencil
Our precision pencil comes with both glass fiber and hard carbon tips. It will allow you to accurately remove crust and dirt from your coins and artefacts without damaging the patina.
Fiber glass tip
The glass fiber tip will clean your bronze artefacts without damaging the patina. It's also very effective on all sorts of metals as it's the softest tip available on the precision pensil.
Carbon tip
This hard carbon tip is dedicated to removing dirts that the glass fiber will not be abale to clean. It's effective on all kinds of metal; in order to avoid damaging the patina, use cautiously on bronze.
Brass brush
The brass brush will wipe the first layer of dirt. Use gently in order to avoid scratches; we recommend to change tip as soon as you narrow down to the surface of the coin/artefact.
Scalpel
The scalpel is meant to get rid of the toughest piece of dirt or crust. The scalpel is more efficient if you use a pull-out gesture rather than a scratch motion. As it's the hardest fitting, it has to be used with extreme caution.
Brass tip
Being very thin, the brass tip is the most accurate tool available on the precision pencil. Use it in the finishing process to clean areas that cannot be reached by other tips such as letters of a caption.
